& District Air Rifle League are excited and proud to announce to its
members that - as from 1st January 2009 - the league has affiliated to the NSRA. The league has been contemplating affiliation
for some time, mainly because affiliation provides our paying members
the reassurance of Civil Liability insurance whilst taking part in
league arranged matches and competitions. It also covers the league
itself and provides valuable insurance against loss or damage of the
leagues' trophy and target collection. The league will also benefit from
enhanced exposure and publicity through NSRA publications and the NSRA
website.
There will be no change to the format we shoot. All league matches and competitions are shot in accordance with NSRA rules and no format change is necessary. The league may, at some point in the future, arrange participation in NSRA arranged postal competitions, the rules for which will be provided by the NSRA. The league has appointed several witnesses from it's member force that will be authorised to witness any NSRA arranged competition. Approved witnesses include League Committee Members, as well as Secretaries and Captains of our member clubs. A full list is given below.
